Orlando Rock has a history of being environmentally conscientious, having pioneered the use of recycled concrete base. By obtaining approval from local municipalities for the use of this material, Orlando Rock has helped curtail the depletion of our natural limestone resources while minimizing the impact to our area landfills. Orlando Rock, continuing to become more environmentally responsible, will now do its part to reduce dependency on foreign oil.
As of October 1, 2007 - BIO-DIESEL fuel made with soy oil will now be used exclusively in all equipment.
This is a sizeable commitment of time and resources, as Orlando Rock uses 160,000 gallons per year in running its construction equipment. What most excited Orlando Rock about BIO-DIESEL, is that it simultaneously reduces air pollution and our dependence on fossil fuels. Through this action, the company's focus will be shifted to renewable energy sources
